For Shawn Dell Joyce: Regarding your article in the Times Herald Record Jan. 20, 2008, I have the following comment. While I believe the premise of the article is supportable by data, it is unfortunate that California agriculture is linked with the Ogallala aquifer which extends no farther west than the middle of Wyoming or eastern New Mexico. Such linkage tends to discredit the substance of the message.
