Acting for Beginners with Andrew Matthews
Whether you dream of being a star, or just want to learn how to express yourself more eloquently, you will benefit from this beginning acting class. Learn acting skills like physicalization, characterization, and improvisation from a local actor who has starred in many off-Broadway performances. You will learn to work independently and ensemble. Great class for teens and adults.

Fashions with Ann Marie Nitti
Learn to design and draw an outfit for yourself. Study correct body structure and the way garments fall on the body. Work with professional fashion illustration tools like colored pencil, watercolor and heavy watercolor paper.

Pet Portraits with Ann Marie Nitti
Bring a photo of your favorite pet and learn how to render this animal in watercolor and pastel on watercolor paper.

Decorative Painting with Nancy Reed Jones
Learn the basic techniques and brush strokes for the art of Decorative Painting. Use these techniques to paint on wood, fabric, furniture etc. Make great Holiday gifts for family and friends. Green Gifts
Make your own holiday gifts from recycled materials with sustainable artist and “Sustainable Living” columnist Shawn Dell Joyce! These workshops are designed for the whole family. Make your own gifts for teachers, relatives, and friends from materials that would otherwise wind up in the waste stream. A wonderful way for the whole family to learn how to be more self sufficient, how to reuse materials to generate less garbage, and art-making techniques like decoupage, and decorative painting techniques to create unique gifts and gift wrap! Great workshop to occupy your children creatively while you do some local gift shopping! Ages 4 through 100, Workshops are free, $10 materials fee per person.
• Saturday, Nov. 22, 1-3pm- Personalized Wooden Ornaments! Make ornaments with your family photo (photos made on site) decoupage on wooden discs that were formally part of wind chimes! Make cards to accompany ornaments using scrap paper and reusing old cards. Learn art-making techniques like decoupage, collage, and importance of reusing materials instead of throwing things away!
• Saturday, Nov. 29, 1-3pm- Handmade Tote Bags! Learn to weave reusable bags from scraps of waste materials and strips of plastic bags! Make a card to accompany the tote bag gift. Learn art-making techniques like weaving, design, and thrifty self-sufficiency of making things from waste materials!
Holiday Cards in Watercolor with Patricia Morgan
Students will create various designs of watercolor images to use for holiday cards. The small paintings can be used as originals on card stock and/or we can take photos of the work and order prints to place on blank cards. Supply list available.
