May 16- 11-noon  at the Florida Library (4 Cohen Cir. Florida, NY (845) 651-7659) “Lunch and Current Events” open discussion with Shawn Dell Joyce about ways to go green and lessen your environmental impact. Orange County Bounty will be on sale and discussed.

May 21-10:30am  Keynote speaker Orange County Council for the Aging, Senior Enrichment,at Orange County Community College in the Middletown. Shawn Dell Joyce presents “Local Solutions to Climate Change” featuring the local foods cookbook, and Wallkill River School art on easels.

June 15  3-5pm The opening of a month long Orange County Bounty cookbook artwork exhibit to coincide with the announcement of a new menu using local produce at the Backyard Grill and Café, 31 Forester Avenue, Warwick, NY. Also at the opening is “Eating Local”, a presentation by Shawn Dell Joyce. The local foods cookbook will also be on sale.

June 7-10am-6pm, Earth and Water Day with Orange Environment at Thomas Bull Park, New Hampton, NY. Wallkill River School artist will lead children’s field sketch workshop and identify 10 native trees, plants and birds. Wallkill River School will have an informational table in the adult section with “Orange County Bounty” cookbooks  for sale, and brochures available.

June 28-4pm, Museum Village on Route 17M in Monroe,  “Eating Local” presentation with cookbook on sale and art exhibit on easels in the Museum visitor’s center.

July 2, 6pm-Cornell Coop. Ext. 10 Westbrook Lane Kingston, NY in Ulster-“Eat Local” presentation by Shawn Dell Joyce with Wallkill River School cookbook art on easels and cookbooks for sale.
