Wallkill River School & Art Gallery
Our cookbook publisher; Dr. Tom Kemnitz has offered space for an exhibition of our work at the Monroe Democratic Party headquarters. It is a very large store front on Lake St. (the former Smith & Strebel hardware store). Paintings would need to be displayed on an easel with a printed titlecard, contact info and price. There's room for 75 paintings on easels. Lots of people will be through this office in the next few months. It would be nice to donate 25% of the sale price to the MDP for the use of their space.
Also, Dr. Kemnitz has offered us the use of his booth at the Monroe Cheese Festival. Artists can set up an easel
and paint, with a few of their paintings alongside.
The Monroe Democrats were really enthusiastic about the possibility of having the WRS involved. Our cookbook will be on sale at both venues.

The Eat Local Virtual Farmstand is coming to the WRS!
( Even if you live outside Orange County NY please read this. )
Although we're not ready yet to take orders via the web,
the www. eatlocalvirtualfarmstand.com will be setting up on
Thursday evening August 14th from 6-9PM at the Wallkill River School
located at 232 Ward St (Rt. 17K) in Montgomery. Hopefully you can stop by.

From Trapani Farm: Blackberries, Peaches and Nectarines
From Abundant Life Farm: Lettuce, Cut Peaches, Sauted Zucchini,
and Cucumber Pickles.
From Weed Farm: Pears and Sweet Corn
From Belmont Farm: Grass Fed Pork
